How to use your MyCruisewatch Dashboard
Your dashboard is a key aspect in finding your perfect cruise. It works like your cockpit, helping you get the most out of our suite of exclusive services. From finding saved searches and favorite sailings, to adjusting price alerts and newsletter preferences, your dashboard is the brain of your MyCruisewatch profile. Plus, keep track of your status and explore new features of our site quickly and easily. From helm to stern, your dashboard is designed to bring simplicity into the cruise booking process.
Earn more by unlocking status levels
The first thing you’ll see when you log in is your status level. Certain features depend on attaining status levels. The higher your status level, the more features and services you can unlock! Your status level is also visible to other cruisers across the site, and helps you find your ideal cruise by helping you get the most out of your dashboard.
Every cruiser begins as a Deckhand, but you can rise through the ranks by completing more of your profile, setting up your preferences, and simply using the site. Earn points for simply using our search, adding a cruise to your favorites, checking news and insights on the blog, activating price alerts, or sharing your knowledge with other cruisers.
Be sure to check back often in order to maintain your status. Our services are all about providing real-time data and recommendations, and in order to run smoothly, that means updating your profile, preferences, and favorites too!
Next you’ll find status bars indicating the parts of your account that are good to go and the parts that need some attention. If an area of your MyCruisewatch account is missing some information, you’ll see it here. For example, if you haven’t activated the Newsletter, or it’s missing your preferred ports, you’ll see a notification with a button linking directly to the page where you can provide the missing information. It’s quick, easy, and (dare we say it?) fun!
Unlock new features and services
Last but certainly not least, you’ll see a chart of exclusive services you’ve unlocked or have yet to discover. Exploring different services is not only a great way to find a great deal on a cruise, but also to earn more points and new status levels.
These services include e.g.:
- Saving your favorite cruises to your “Favorites” section
- Activating price alerts on potentially perfect cruises
- Using our search to find dream cruises and cruise deals
- Saving a search or sharing a search with friends
- Signing up for the Newsletter for tips and deals tailored just for you
- Reading the blog to see what’s new in the industry, and getting data-backed insights and tips
Simplicity at a glance
Your dashboard not only lets you know how to get the most out of your MyCruisewatch account - it also acts as your cockpit. It provides a summary of all services and helps you stay up-to-date on preferences, your cruiser profile, and your usage. Save yourself some time by saving your search criteria, which you can always find under “My Searches.” Under “Favorites,” you’ll find your top cruises neatly displayed with pricing info, price alert activation, and options to share with friends or compare with other cruises. Your price alerts can be found under “Alerts,” where you can also modify or delete alerts that are outdated or no longer reflect your preferences.
Speaking of preferences, define your goals and focus our feedback in your “Preferences” section. This way, you’ll get only the most relevant information from us. We always want to provide you with personalized offers and deals that match your needs, so tell us a bit about yourself in your “Profile.”
