Cruising the tributaries of the Ganges, as its name suggests, the Ganges Voyager II shines in its ability to navigate not only the challenging geography of India, but also the at times startling incongruities between Western and Indian culture - something the staff and crew deal with deftly, gently, and with genuine helpfulness. While this ship boasts luxury amenities and a truly excellent combination of comfort and exploration, it may be better for more experienced travelers who won't blanche at the sight of abject poverty or packed itineraries.
